Steve was previously the captain of the Tongan Rugby League team for over 5 years!

Steve originally worked for Smart Express back in 2015 in our Auckland office as a member of the sales support team.

After leaving Smart Express to follow his passion for Rugby in 2017, he recently re-joined our Smart Express Auckland team last September.

After working in Auckland for a few months, the opportunity to join our Tauranga team came up, and Steve decided to grab this opportunity with both hands!

Steve’s son, who also used to work for Smart Express is also passionate about rugby. He plays for the Tongan Rugby Union, meaning that he will be playing in the World Cup in Japan this year.

Steve’s wife is also one of our Smart Express fans and uses us on a regular basis at her work.

Cory is Steve’s Son in Law and has worked with him since Steve moved to Tauranga.

Cory plays for the New Zealand American Football team. It seems that a real talent for sport runs in the family.
