For this months team profile, we introduce you to our CFO, Andrew Miller.

About Andrew

Andrew is our Chief Financial Officer here at Smart Express Auckland and is a big football fan.  He grew up near London and is still a die-hard fan of Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premier League

He joined the Smart Express team late last year  bringing with him 30 years of experience in finance and accounting across corporate enterprises here and overseas.  Andrew began his career in London with a major accounting firm; and lived there until 1992 when he came to New Zealand on an international transfer.  After moving across the world to Auckland he met his lovely wife Christine……and like many people he fell in love with life here. In his spare time Andrew enjoys boxing, watching football, gardening, tramping and skiing – not all at the same time!  Andrew and Christine have 3 teenage boys that are now in the next generation of Spurs fans.

Andrew’s role at Smart Express

Andrew looks after the financial, commercial and legal affairs of the rapidly growing Smart Express operations. As our CFO, Andrew works closely with the finance team, Shelly and Nitin,  with our Directors, Susan and Devan, and with the other senior executives on the financial and operating strategy of the business, and to drive growth for our owner driver network.

Andrew enjoys being a part of the passionate and driven Smart Express team, and the wide variety of his role.  He is focused on continuing the rapid expansion of the business that was recently accelerated when we joined forces with well known Auckland moving company, Tiger Transport.
