Matthew was born in Iran, and moved to Auckland at the age of 19. He loves to explore and discover new places! Smart Express offered the perfect job for Matthew. When our man with a van, Matthew has free time he spends his time doing what he loves. Matthew loves fishing, hiking, cooking and enjoying a good movie! Matthew also likes listening to music, especially when driving listening to jazz and pop music!
Matthew’s favourite part of being a “Man with a Van” for Smart Express, is he gets delivery projects to the South Island. He thoroughly enjoys seeing all the beautiful sights! Matthew visited the South Island three times last year and said it will always be his favourite delivery destination!
What was your most difficult delivery?
Matthew remembers his most difficult move which was over two years ago! (It must have been incredibly memorable!) In an apartment with out of order elevators, man with a van Matthew and his co-worker had to carry two 100kg tables… down SIX flights of stairs! In total, this move took over two hours, which was much longer than anticipated. As they were not informed of the out of order elevators prior to their arrival! Despite this, Matthew and his co-worker were persistent and ensured that the tables were safely delivered to the ground floor!
What do you like most of all with your work?
Matthew ensures that his service is always to the highest of standards, and is considered to be very friendly and helpful within the Smart Express team! Auckland mover, Smart Express Customer Karene said Matthew was “exactly on time…friendly and polite, very efficient, careful” she also said that she would definitely use Smart Express again, and she would ask for man with a van, Matthew!
