Devan has worked over 20 years in the NZ Courier and Freight Industry. In a broad range of management roles. Devan’s roles at CourierPost and Roadstar Transport had him working with many of NZ’s leading companies designing and managing supply-chain solutions.
Business Development Manager
Nick started with the company in 2008. He worked with Devan for many years as regional sales manager at CourierPost. He has brought many years of experience to Smart Express. He saw an opportunity to help provide a reliable and unique delivery service company.
National Sales and Services Manager
Mark recently joined us following an extensive career in media sales. He is delighted to have joined the awesome team here at Smart Express. Mark is excited to join a company that strives for genuine customer excellence and fast growth.
National Operations and Dispatch Manager
David joined us from Tiger Transport back in February 2019. David looks after our dispatch team, and brings a wealth of knowledge from Tiger Transport which is great for our team to learn new ways of carrying out day to day tasks.
Tauranga Regional Sales Manager
Dave joined us recently to help open our Tauranga branch. Being a local and having worked with Devan before, he was the perfect fit. Dave has 2 strong movers and a moving van ready to help our Tauranga customers. Dave is currently looking to expand his team.

AJ is the Smart Express Auckland office multi tasker! She is always prepared and ready to lend a helping hand to whoever needs it. AJ loves bringing the team together and always has a big smile on her face.

Hilary is our star customer service expert. Her job is to help our customers find the right vehicles for their move. She can help answer your questions. Hilary loves booking in jobs and customer relationships.

Chris is the Smart Express Team's “De-stresser!” His job is to make sure all our customers’ Big Moving Day goes well, and is stress-free as possible. Finding the best option for Smart Express customers is his priority.
Commercial Logistics Team Leader
Lana compares her job to fitting a tricky puzzle together. She is responsible for all the Auckland and Tauranga customer logistics of the Smart Express operation. She enjoys finding the best fit for all of the moving pieces. She is a real whizz for our team and customers.
Operations And Dispatch
Grace is the Smart Express Dispatch Queen! She allocates the residential customer moves and deliveries to the drivers. Based on their location on the map, as all of our vehicles are GPS tracked. We know where your move or delivery is at all times!
Operations and Dispatch Management
Dan's job making the moving and delivery process very efficient. This will ensure customers are in the loop every step of the way. So we maximise the number of jobs each day. Ensuring each delivery is allocated sufficient time is Dan’s forte.
Chief financial officer
Andrew looks after the financial, commercial and legal affairs of the growing Smart Express business. He is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years’ experience across a range of substantial corporate enterprises. Andrew is enjoying being part of the enthusiastic and motivated Smart Express team that is developing an outstanding customer-focused business.
Finance and Accounts Assistant
Nitin comes to us with a passion for business accounting. Nitin’s friendly and welcoming persona makes him a very helpful addition to the Smart Express Auckland team.
Accounts and Administrator
Shelly works alongside Nitin in our accounting team. Shelly has an excellent eye for detail which is a great skill to have in our accounting department. Shelly’s friendly and calm personality makes her a perfect fit to our team in Auckland.
Lorraine became a part of our Smart Express team in February 2019 after we joined forces with Tiger Transport. Lorraine loves engaging with our customers over the phone and helping them find the best solution for their move.
Operation and Dispatch
Sara became a part of our Auckland team in February 2019 after we joined forces with Tiger Transport. Sara now works with our dispatch team and is enjoying being a part of our Smart Express family.
Marketing and Sales support
Sophie is from the UK and joined the Smart Express team. She loves interacting with our customers on Social Media and helping to create an overall better customer experience.
Gaby is our new Marketing Intern who came directly from Paris. She helps Sophie with her daily tasks and is learning how Smart Express is functioning. She loves sharing pictures of the drivers and the team in the office so the customers know more about what we get up to here!
Mateen is a second year Auckland university student studying a Bachelor of Science and Majoring in Physiology. Mateen loves playing grass hockey, watching sports and helping his robotics team that he represented at his school which he thoroughly enjoyed.
Oliva works part-time in the office as she is still in University. Olivia is an incredibly helpful asset to the team, as she likes to spend her time across all functions of the Smart Express office.
