In February 2019, Smart Express took another big step. Hot on the heels of launching Tauranga, the business joined forces with long established and well known Auckland Transport Companies, Tiger Transport and Taxi Trucks.

This ‘joining of forces’ included welcoming some key staff Including Tiger Transport Owner David Baird, along with key staff members Kyle, Sara and Lorraine. In addition to these office based staff and number of the Tiger Driver and off-sider teams also came across the newly enlarged Smart Express Limited.

The Tiger transport brand has been synonymous with quality moving in and around Auckland’s finer suburbs for many years. While the company name of Tiger Transport and Taxi Trucks technically no longer exists, the company ethos and expertise has been well and truly embedded into the enlarged Smart Express Moving and Delivery organisation.

David Baird continues to share his experience, holding a management role with Smart Express. He still even gets on the road regularly to stay in touch with the team and to lead by example. The customer feedback below shows that David still know how to deliver!
